What change did the 4th crusade bring on the church?
I’m writing an essay on how the Fourth Crusade brought changes in the Church or strengthen aspects of faith unchanged. I can not find anything to help!

Because the Roman crusaders turned against their own fellow Christians of the Greek (or Eastern or Byzantine) church, the Latin and the Eastern churches forever split, with the Eastern church achieving and ascendancy in military affairs and culturally over the church in Rome.
